Between Destinations
Welcome to Between Destinations, the podcast where two passionate travelers, Dan and Marie, share their past and future travel experiences with you. With each episode, we aim to inspire and educate our listeners about the joys and benefits of traveling.
We believe that travel is not just about visiting new places but also about immersing oneself in the culture, learning from the locals, and discovering new perspectives. We have had some incredible travel experiences, and we want to share them with you, along with the tips and tricks that we have learned along the way.
Our podcast covers a wide range of travel-related topics, from planning and budgeting to packing and safety tips. We also share our insights on the best places to visit, the hidden gems that are often overlooked by tourists, and the unique experiences that can only be found in specific destinations.
We understand that traveling can be intimidating, especially for first-time travelers. That's why we share our personal experiences and challenges to help you navigate your own travel journeys with ease. We'll discuss the obstacles we've faced, the lessons we've learned, and how we overcame them.
The name of our podcast, Between Destinations, comes from the idea that we discuss travel and share our stories while we are between trips. This is when we reflect on our past travels and plan our future adventures. We believe that the moments between destinations are just as important as the destinations themselves, and we want to share these moments with you.
Whether you are an experienced traveler or just starting, our podcast has something for everyone. So, come along with us as we explore the world, share our love for travel, and provide you with the tools and inspiration to plan your own incredible journeys.

Episode 3 - Costa Rica (Final Episode in Series)
This is our new podcast that Marie and I have started so that we could share our past, upcoming and future travel adventures. This is our third and final episode where we are talking about our trip to Costa Rica and the Osa Peninsula. This trip was transformative as well for both of us and completed the long journey that led to both of us going to Costa Rica earlier this year.

Martina's is a great place to grab some dinner after 5 or 6 and it is within walking distance of Marmaris. It is also the local hangout on Friday nights.

How To Get There
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are multiple ways of getting to Matapalo - but the quickest is by plane. We flew SANSA Airlines, Costa Rica to Puerto Jiménez and then rented a car. SANSA Airlines is just a short was away from the Juan Santamaría Airport in San José (SJO), Costa Rica.
